Advertising & Marketing Associate
We are seeking a dynamic Advertising and Marketing Associate to lead marketing efforts for our Afro-Caribbean food store and kitchen. The role focuses on promoting West African cuisine and products through culturally relevant campaigns that attract both diaspora and mainstream UK audiences.
Key duties include managing social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube), creating engaging digital content, running targeted advertising, and organising community food events. You’ll collaborate with kitchen and retail staff to tell compelling stories around traditional dishes like Jollof rice, suya, egusi soup, and more.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of marketing or communications experience, ideally within food, retail, or cultural sectors. Strong knowledge of African food culture, digital marketing platforms, SEO, and campaign analysis is essential. A relevant degree (RQF Level 6 or equivalent) or equivalent work experience is required.
This role is central to our mission of expanding cultural awareness through food, increasing customer engagement, and driving national growth. If you're creative, culturally connected, and passionate about digital storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.
